So sorry to hear of Ginny’s death. WE used to enjoy visiting with her after 10 a.m. Mass at St. Peter’s a few years ago. Marvin had been friends with Cotton for years. Hope Ginny hadn’t been sick. May God comfort the family with peace and fond memories.

  5. Lisa O’Brien says:

Jenny was the best friend of my mother-in-law, Emily O’Brien. She was such a sweet lady, full of kindness! Our sincere condolences to you. The world has lost a wonderful lady.

  6. Jenny Kaufmann says:

Mrs. Skinner was probably my mother’s (Emily O’Brien) closest and dearest friend. She joined us every year at birthday parties for my mom and she was there for the last one that we celebrated in 2017, shortly before my mother passed away. I would drive my mother to Ginny’s house and my mom would tell me to beep the horn. I was always shocked because Mrs. Skinner was such a gentle lady and no true southern would do that. The world is a sadder place without the Mrs. Skinners here to set examples for all of us.
