  10. Jamie Tiblis says:

My sister Sarah was easily the most loving and compassionate person I knew. She always knew what to say in difficult times growing up and she was always watching out for me. She introduced me to many of my favorite bands, movies, and books and taught me what it meant to have an older sister that loved me no matter what. There are so many parts of her within the person I am today and I feel like part of her has always been with me even though we have grown apart over the years, because she influenced me so much growing up that there were parts of her that made me who I am. I know if Sarah were here right now she would have wanted my brother Jack and I invited to her private viewing and mentioned in her obituary. Sarah loved everyone, regardless of their faults and unconditionally without hesitation because that’s just who she was. She was the person that would always be smiling no matter what was going on in life so she could make the world a little bit brighter and more beautiful for those around her. She was a ray of light in a dark world and a reason to keep hoping and holding on when life felt impossible. There will always be more people named Sarah in life, but there will only be one Sarah Tiblis and one older sister that I will remember and miss for the rest of my life. I love you Sarah and I will honor you in all the things that I do moving forward. Love, Jamie

  17. Donna Howell says:

This is just so heartbreaking. I met Sarah when she was just a toddler at the library. She was so curious and smart and cute as could be. She first asked me for a job when she was about 4 years old. Then she worked at the library in the summer before college and later worked full time at the library. I watched her grow into a beautiful, talented, smart, and funny woman with such a big heart. I was so happy for her when she and Thomas married, and they started their beautiful family. She was a loving wife and Mom and relished both roles. She loved her work at the library, and I was so proud of her when she found another library job in South Carolina when they moved. And I know she loved her work there too. I feel blessed to have known her and her family. Prayers for all the family. May God comfort your hearts as you grapple with this awful loss. And may he continue to be with you as you heal from your grief.
