Robert Jerry Coates, 83, formerly of Beaufort and from Frederick, Maryland, died Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Monday, February 17, 2020, at All Saints Church – 106 West Church Street in Frederick, Maryland. A reception will follow at Ceresville Mansion – 8529 Liberty Road in Frederick.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Frederick County or The Nature Conservancy.
