  1. Leslie Forlano says:

Linda and Edgar informed Ramsey HS classmates of Rob’s passing. Rob was my husband, Anthony John Forlano’s good friend from Ramsey years and he attended my husband’s memorial service here in Mt Pleasant, SC on the SS Yorktown on Jan 16th, 2015. We all went to Water’s Edge Restaurant for food and drinks after the service and I was so delighted to hear all the stories the original crew of young men had to share about their adventures and misadventures as Ramsey students and young men. I was grateful for the crew’s support, Diane during those early days without Tony..and I am sure you are devastated by Rob’s passing. I hope to be informed of his memorial service when you schedule it. The folks from Ramsey are in touch letting all of us know this sad reality.
Please accept my sympathies for your loss. I am not far away..and Tony is buried in the National cemetery in Beaufort so I am often there to visit. If I can offer you a shoulder, I am happy to do so.
    Leslie Forlano

  2. Steve Altenderfer says:

Robin was my high school classmate, and a friend for about 60 years, Although we saw each other infrequently, it was as if we had never been separated. My wife and I saw you, Diane, with Robin at reunions, and at Tony Forlano’s memorial service. Please know that I share your pain. Robin was a great guy! Keep me in the loop regarding the memorial service.
    Steve Altenderfer

So sad to hear that Robin has died. Attended Kindergarten thru HS with him in Ramsey. Remember his quick wit, friendly smile and warm ways. May your memories help you weather this difficult time.

  5. Skychief Bobby Jones says:

You will hear, I’m sure, from multiple Bobby Joneses. We knew him as “New Jersey” from the many years he played in our golf tournament, the Bobby Jones Open. I never knew that y’all called him “Robin”. I know he had many friends from many and early walks of life but be assured he will be missed next June when we tee it up in Gaylord, Michigan. I had several opportunities to play with Jers and I even played once with Bret. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Diane and the family.

  6. Carolyn Lane Jones says:

So saddened to hear this news. New Jersey, as we all called him at the Bobby Jones Open, was a favorite of everyone and especially Atlanta and myself. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Diane and his family.

  7. Rhyl & Pam Jones says:

So sorry to hear about New Jersey’s passing. We feel we knew him well as a friend but had only met over a few days at 2 BJO’s. Our deepest condolences to Diane and family.
