John was a wonderful human and great Marine serving with distinction in his final years as the Operations Officer for USMC Air Station Beaufort, S.C. He will be sorely missed by country and Corps. Those of us who knew and served with him always knew he had our back as we carried out the many duties of Air Station Flight Ops.
