You were truly an inspiration to me in so many ways. You made me feel like I was the only person in the room when you so selfishly cared about every word I said. Your heart was truly made of gold & I will forever be grateful for what taught me in life about making people feel special. I will cherish our college memories forever!
    Love you Roomie!

Several years ago, Dawn gave me a coffee mug for my birthday and it was exactly what I’d buy for myself–typical of Dawn to be so thoughtful and know the perfect gift. Within minutes of meeting Dawn I knew we would be friends. She was exceptional and I knew it instantly. Always quick to laugh she just made everything a good time. Everything was better when Dawn was a part of it. Including life. May peace be with you my friend.

  20. Mary McClaskey says:

Dawn had an incredible personality, was soft-spoken, loved music, adventurous, fun-spirited and loved life. She loved conversation, people, and was a friend to all, but she cherished her son more than anything in the world, her parents, her family and her closest friends. She was always there at a drop of the hat. It was the things she not only said, but did, or the little surprise gifts, that showed how important you were to her. She had her special way of making an impact on you and she touched many lives, with her kindness which was the person she was, always thinking of others. She will be missed by many, who had the pleasure of knowing her and especially those who were blessed to share a close friendship with her. I will miss your sweet spirit, your kind soul and the bond we shared and will never forget how God brought us together. I can see you with your beautiful heavenly wings, dancing and singing with God’s Angels, Dawn Vosbury-VanGundy, which brings tears to my eyes because you were more than just my friend.

    THE BLESSING OF FRIENDSHIP
The Lord brought us together, there’s a bond that we shared. A blessing we called friendship, and it means we truly cared.
We cried, we laughed, and we held each other up, as we shared losses, dreams and plans.
We were always there for each other to lend a helping hand, to vent or just hang out and have a glass of wine.
I enjoyed our time together, but even more than that, you will always be my Ya-Ya sister, you will always be loved, remembered and missed, until we meet again.
