Billy Warren Davis, 60, of Beaufort, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at his residence.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o’clock Friday, February 1, 2019, at Copeland Funeral Service – One Copeland Drive.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday, February 2, 2019, in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Beaufort Memorial Gardens.

    It is never easy to lose a friend that I have known for close to 50 years. Billy was always kind and giving in his spirit.     I worked with Billy many years first at Piggly Wiggly in the ’70’s and with Athena in the 2000’s. We always enjoyed the Water Festival Lowcountry Supper night (especially if Chris was playing). I’ll miss him.

    I am so, so to learn of Billy’s death. I work with him at McDonalds along with Pat Flanagan. He was so full of mischief! I tried to re-connect with him but could never get my FB friend request to go thru. Prayers for his family and especially his baby girl, Crystal Gayle.
