Virginia Campbell Barnes, 85, of Beaufort, widow of Norris Oliver Barnes, died Saturday, December 7, 2024, at her home.
Virginia was born in Charleston, SC and a daughter of the later William and Lula Blackmon Campbell. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by a son Tony Thornley.
Surviving are children Debra Hiers, Rodney Thornley, Rusty Thornley, and Tammy Sorenson; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Copeland Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12th at Ayers Family Cemetery Ehrhardt, SC.
Copeland Funeral Service is assisting the Barnes family with arrangements.
