Thomas Edward Brooks, 59, of Beaufort, husband of Patricia Meaux Brooks, died Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his residence.

Thomas was born in Beaufort, South Carolina and was a son of the late Albert and Edna Boullion Brooks. Thomas was employed as an HVAC technician.

Surviving in addition to his wife Patti of 36 years, are two sons Beaux Bergeron and Chris Brooks; two sisters Sharon Pope and Donna Whitaker; a brother Allen Brooks; one grandson Trevan Bergeron and two granddaughters Evelin Brooks and Roslin Arquette; and his fur and feather babies.

A graveside memorial service for Thomas will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Beaufort Memorial Gardens.

Copeland Funeral Service is assisting the Brooks family with arrangements.
