Russell Woods

Russell Woods, 77, of Beaufort, husband of Shirley Bradham Woods, died Tuesday, July 10, 2024 at his residence.
Russell was born in Beaufort, SC and a son of the late Howard L. and Reba Godley Woods. He was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, a local Commander with Royal Rangers Scouting Program, and a member of Praise Assembly Church of God, where he served as an Elder and Deacon. Russell was retired from SCE&G, after 30 years of service as a lineman.
In addition to his wife of 56 years, Russell is survived by a son Brian Woods (Laurie); a daughter Kerrie Woods; a sister Rebecca Spell Woods; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service for Russell will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel.
