Patricia Ann Oliva aka (Trish) was born February 14, 1964, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the daughter of Earl Johnson Sr., and her mother, the late Gloria Aretha Johnson. On Tuesday, December 23rd Patricia Ann answered the master's call in Beaufort, South Carolina and went home to Glory.

Patricia Ann was educated in the Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) of Virginia Beach, where she was a very avid lover of poetry, music and the arts, singing in the school's talent shows, the Creeds Youth Choir and The Junior Harris Singers, served 2 years as an ROT reservist with distinction in the United States Army Corp. She graduated from First Colonial High School in 1982 and later went on to receive her Degree of Science in Healthcare Reimbursement at Virginia College.

Trish enjoyed cooking (good food), camping and traveling with her wife, Rashida. Their life together was full of love, compassion, adventure, spontaneity & laughter. Rashida was not only the love of Trish's life but also her best friend sharing 15 years together. Trish was a loving, devoted and dedicated wife and dog mom (Grier) who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed old school music, traveling, watching CNN, and enjoying time with her nieces and nephews.

On November 14th of 2010, Trish and Rashida became an exclusive couple. They later married on September 24, 2024, in Beaufort, SC.

Patricia Ann will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life....her devoted wife, Rashida Jones, Beaufort, SC; her siblings: Earl Johnson Jr.
(Shirley); Ralph Johnson (Michelle); Donita Church (James); Orlando Johnson; James Savage (Tiffany); Ronald Savage (Tiffany); Mike Harrell and the late Tamara Miller. Patricia leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a dear and special friend, Karen Holley, her god daughters, Jamika and Isah as well as a host of other family members.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026 at Copeland Funeral Service.

A graveside service for Patricia Ann will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026 at Citizens Cemetery, Beaufort, SC
