Maven Grace Scott

Maven Grace Scott, a 13-week-old infant daughter of Alexandra Mendenhall and Peyton Scott, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

During her brief time on Earth, she loved being outside, going on walks, being sung to, hearing stories, and being held close by her parents. She was full of life—bright-eyed, always smiling, and with just the right amount of sass.

In addition to her parents, she is lovingly remembered by her grandparents: John and Eliana Mendenhall; Virginia Rollins and William St. Martin; and Chad and Michelle Scott. She is also remembered by her aunts and uncles: Mitchell and Arlia Mendenhall, and Briana and Josh Mason, along with many other family members and friends who loved her deeply.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina, for the excellent care they provided to Maven. A very special thank you to Dr. Savage and to Dr. Sturgis, her pediatrician, for their compassion and kindness. The family deeply appreciates all the prayers during this difficult time.
