Laurie June Woods

Laurie June Woods, 53, of Beaufort, wife of Brian Russell Woods, died Saturday, January 03, 2026 at MUSC- Charleston.

Laurie was born in Albany, Georgia and was the daughter of the later Winfred Seitz and BeverlyWestling. Laurie was director of Hobbit Hill Pre-School. She was baptized and attended Church at Cornerstone Christian Church. Laurie enjoyed going to the beach, riding on the motorcycle with her husband, and cruising the neighborhood on the golf cart. She was also a dog-lover.

In addition to her husband of 33 years, Laurie is survived by her brother Billy Seitz, her step-sister Amy Dominguez, and number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Laurie will be held 2;00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Cornerstone Christian Church, 2301 1st Boulevard, Beaufort, SC 29902.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Cornerstone Christian Church, 2301 1st Boulevard, Beaufort, SC 29902.
