Frank Lenna, Master Sergeant, USMC (Retired)

Frank Lenna, Master Sergeant, United States Marine Corps Retired, 78, of Beaufort, husband of Phyllis Tirrito Lenna, died Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his residence.

Frank was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a son of the late Joseph and Helen Selbst Lenna. Frank was a Master Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he was a Purple Heart recipient and was awarded the Silver Star for his heroism in The Vietnam War. Frank Lenna served his country with honor and valor, as he served his family with love and compassion- as an exemplary father and grandfather. Frank loved to be outdoors; fishing, crabbing and cooking for his family brought him and those around him so much joy.

In addition to his wife Phyllis, Frank is survived by his children, Frank, Lisa, and Angela; one brother and four sisters; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2025 at Copeland Funeral Service.

A memorial service for Frank will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 10th at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Disabled American Veterans organization (DAV.org).
