Eunice Evelyn Nelson, 101, widow of John Thomas Nelson, died August 8, 2025 in Stagecoach, Texas.

Eunice was born in Nathalia, Victoria, Australia March 19, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Richard and Ellen Tuckett of Australia. She lived there until approximately 1940 then moved to Melbourne Australia. In 1943, Eunice met and married John T. Nelson, US Army and moved to USA. She lived in Charleston, Mt Pleasant, and Beaufort, South Carolina; then after John T. passed away in 2006, she moved to Stagecoach, Texas with her daughter Alleine. She was the last of her Tuckett brothers and sisters, and also of John Nelson's brothers and sisters. She was a Christian, loved God and all her family and friends.

Eunice is survived by four children, Alleine (Bill), Tom (Kahn), Richard (Frankie) and Jim; seven grands, Timothy, Nicole, Denise (Jeff), John, Angela (deceased), Mike and Melissa; nine great grands, Trinity, Brooklyn, Haley, Isabella, Shon, Isaac, Mason, Matthew, Maddison and Amanda; and eight great-great grands.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 noon, Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Copeland Funeral Service, One Copeland Drive, Beaufort, South Carolina.
