BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA - Elizabeth "Betty" Wilcher Bennett, 76, of Beaufort, widow of Jesse L. Bennett Sr., died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. A memorial service for Mrs. Bennett will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Salvation Army Center for Worship and Service.
