Dennis Allen Stepp

Dennis Allen Stepp, 67, of Beaufort, South Carolina, passed away at home, surrounded by warmth and comfort Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Dennis was born January 31, 1958 to parents, Viola and Joe Stepp. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Diane Stepp, his daughter Denise Batson, her spouse Noble, their three daughters, Gianna, Kara Lynn, and Elanore, and his son Joseph Stepp and his spouse Camden. He also leaves behind two caring brothers, Bobby and Richard.

His sudden passing is a shock but has shown us all to not hold on to angst, always say, “I love you,” and to never take a moment for granted. Dennis never met a stranger and loved his family unconditionally. Ever the hard worker, he never met a project he couldn’t handle. He spent his life helping others and in his spare time he loved camping and fishing. Through life’s twists and turns, he never lost his sense of humor and was a ray of light on life’s darkest days.

The family will be receiving loved ones and friends for a memorial service at the Copeland Funeral Home Thursday, November 13th from 4-6 PM. The family will also be spreading a portion of Dennis’s ashes and serving light refreshments at 7 Riverwind Drive, Port Royal, SC 29935 from 3-5 PM Friday, November 14th.
