Clarence Clayton Pritt

Clarence Clayton “C.C.” Pritt, Gunnery Sergeant United States Marine Corps (Retired), 87, of Beaufort, SC died Wednesday, December 04, 2024, at his residence.

C.C. was born in Glennville, West Virginia and a son of the late Roman and Winey Marks Pritt. He retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1975, serving during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam wars. He worked at Parris Island Maintenance Department and was owner of C & C Heating and Air conditioning. In addition to his parents, C.C. was predeceased by a daughter Shelia Stroh, granddaughter Alicia “Lisa” Connelly Parks McKinley; and grandson Eric Albertson.

C.C. is survived by the love of his life, Linda “Sweetheart” Stroh of 54 years; daughter Kimberly Romer (George); 6 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Beaufort National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at the V.F.W. following the memorial service.
