Austine Brewer Coxwell

Austine Brewer Coxwell, 99, of Beaufort, widow of Hugh H. Coxwell Sr., died Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Sprenger Health Care of Port Royal.

Austine was born in Lumber City, Ga; a daughter of the late Floyd A and Mary Hardwick Brewer. She was a member of Shell Point Baptist Church and she loved gardening, fishing and traveling. Austine was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters, as well as her son, Bryan Alan Coxwell.

Austine is survived by a daughter Paula Coxwell of Yemassee; two sons Hugh H. Coxwell Jr. (Jan) and Mac Coxwell (Linda) both of Beaufort; a sister Dale Brewer of Brunswick, GA; five grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great-greatgrandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31st at Copeland Funeral Service. Following visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Beaufort Memorial Gardens.
