CALLAWASSIE - Allen McGovern, 84, of Callawassie and husband of Audrey Melchior McGovern, died Monday, September 24, 2012, at his residence.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years; two sons, Todd of New Jersey and Drew and wife, Kathy, of Maryland, and a grandson, Douglas McGovern of New Jersey.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry - Post Office Box 3827, Bluffton, South Carolina 29910 or by visiting www.hospicecarelc.org .
